Ada Polla, co-creator of Alchimie Forever, the Swiss skin care line, and Edwin Neill III, CEO of Neill Corporation based in Hammond, Louisiana, were married New Year’s Day in New Orleans.

 

Polla graduated from Harvard College and earned her MBA from Georgetown University, where she conceived of Alchimie Forever which is based on Washington’s historic Georgetown waterfront. Ada is a founding member of the Washington Spa Alliance and serves on the WSPA Board of Directors as treasurer. Born in Switzerland, Ada’s interest in skin care comes naturally: her father Dr. Luigi Polla is a noted dematologist and owner of the Alchimie Laser Institute in Geneva with his wife Dr. Barbara Polla, a biochemist.

 

The Neill family heritage as spa industry innovators continues. Edwin expanded their educational and salon enterprises from New Orleans to Washington, D.C. As the largest distributor of Aveda products in America, Neill now owns and operates an Aveda Institute and salon at the Verizon Center, a WSPA member. He received both a bachelor’s degree and a law degree from Louisiana State University, where he was a senior editor of the law review, and an MBA from Tulane University.

 

The couple resides in Georgetown and New Orleans.
